Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and blood sampling procedures accurately.
- Obtain vital signs and assess patient physiology as needed during specimen collection.
- Process and label specimens correctly for transportation or analysis according to established protocols.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures clearly, answering questions, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Experience:
- Prior phlebotomy experience is required..
- Proven proficiency in phlebotomy techniques, including venipuncture and blood sampling.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to specimen collection.
- Experience working in hospital or healthcare settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures, specimen processing, and aseptic techniques is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient service and care.
